DAY 1
USA – QUITO, ECUADOR

Departure from USA to Quito, Ecuador. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel and scenic tour of
Quito followed by a Welcome dinner.

DAY 2
QUITO – EQUATORIAL LINE

Today is your first day in Quito the second highest capital in Latin America (9,405ft.) Quito sits on a long narrow shelf running north to south, wedged between the slopes of the volcano Pichincha (15,820ft). The Old city, UNESCO World Heritage Trust site, is the colonial center, where pastel-collared houses and ornate churches line the steep and narrow streets. The New city extends north of the colonial city, where its avenues are lined with fine private residences, parks, embassies and villas. After the visit of the old part of the city we will continue to the Pre Colombian museum followed by the Equatorial Line center museum outside of the city. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3
QUITO – PAPALLACTA HOT SPRINGS – QUITO

After breakfast we will drive southwest towards the volcano Cotopaxi and stop at the hot springs of
Papallacta, when you can enjoy the 100/120-degree water from these natural springs.
Return to Quito in the early afternoon. Early evening cooking class followed by dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4
QUITO – CALDERON – OTAVALO

Today we start our journeys into the countryside of Ecuador. First stop will be in Calderon where you See the ability of the artisan at work with the Figurine of Mazapan and in Cayambe for the biscocho. Arrival in the afternoon at the Hacienda, possibility of a walk or just relax and enjoy the village. Dinner and time to visit a local place for salsa class dance. Overnight at the Hacienda.

DAY 5
OTAVALO – PEGUCHI – SAN PABLO LAKE – OTAVALO

Today after breakfast we will take a walk thought the Paramo and continue the cultural tour of the Artisans, visiting the Indian home, look at the art of weavings and looms and musical instrument makers. Dinner tonight will be host in the musician home. Overnight at the Hacienda

DAY 6
OTAVALO – COTACACHI – QUIRCOCHA LAKE OTAVALO

After breakfast we will drive to Quircocha Lake for hiking, later during the day stop for a visit to one of the greenhouse where roses of any colors are cultivated.
Tonight you have been invited to dine with a local family, a wonderful way of knowing their culture. Overnight at the Hacienda.

DAY 7
OTAVALO MARKET – QUITO

One of the highlight of this tour is today with the visit of the best craft market of Ecuador in Otavalo.
Time to stroll and enjoy the variety of the craft produce in this region and buy some souvenir to bring
Back home.
Early afternoon return to Quito for a farewell dinner in a typical restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8
QUITO – USA

Early breakfast and transfer to the airport to go back home OR extend your trip to Galapagos Islands or Amazon adventure.
