DAY 1 Departure from USA

Bagno VignoniDAY 2 Arrival in Rome and transfer for 2 and half hours to Bagno Vignoni, in this beautiful 16c country villa, which will be our residence for the next 4 days. Accommodation in apartments: sharing living room with fire place, kitchen, and facilities. Dinner at the villa.

DAY 3 After breakfast we start our first bike tour to Pienza. This easy tour will allow you to discover the Magic world of Orcia Valley and the small jewel of Pienza village, true architecture masterpiece. We will ride on roads that has been cinematography set for kolossal movies as The Gladiator and
The English Pacient. Time for lunch on your own before we meet our locoal guide for a sighseeing tour. On the way back the road will have a spectacular 360 degree view of the valley. Dinner at the villa.

DAY 4 Departure from the villa to the National Park of Lucciola Bella. The tour today will be mostly on the
Asfalt road, passing by the Spedaletto Castle, ancient ospice for pilgrmage of the Francigean road,
the road who linked Paris with Rome in the Roman time. After bicycling about 16 miles we will
reach a panoramic site with the famous view of the cypris serpent who go up on the Lucciola bella
hill. Bicycle back to Bagno Vignoni for lunch at leisure and enjoy the Roman hot springs.
Return at the villa in the late afternoon and dinner.

MontalcinoDAY 5 Our third day of cycling will go to Montalcino. The tour today can be considered the most difficult of the three. We will bicycle up and down, through the famous hills of the Brunello wine. Visit of
Montalcino and its 13th century fortress, time to stroll and then bike toward Castelnuovo dell’Abate
where stand one of the best example of Romanesc style abbey of Italy: Sant’Antimo founded by
Charles Magne. The owner of a small winery invites us for lunch in its cellar.
We will enjoying tasting wine between the barral of the Brunello wine, and taste the home made
Food of mamma Maria. Return to the villa by van and dinner at the villa.

DAY 6 Today we travel by coach to the famous Chianti area, stopping in Siena one of the best
preserved medieval town in Italy. Walking sightseeing tour of Siena with our English
speaking guide and time for lunch and shopping. Afternoon we will visit a private
cooking school and learn all the secret of the ancient Tuscan cuisine.
After dinner we arrive to our hotel in Castellina in Chianti.

DAY 7 After breakfast, back on ours bikes to visit the rolling hills of the Chianti area. Lunch in
San Sano. Return to the hotel by minibus, dinner on your own. Total miles 26.

DAY 8 Breakfast and depart for San Gimignano as well known as the town of the beautiful
towers, because there are still 13 towers standing since the 11 and 12c. Here we will
have time for lunch, shopping and sightseeing tour with our guide. Return to the hotel
by minibus. Dinner in Castellina. Total miles 26.

DAY 9 Early departure to Rome airport in time to take your flight home or extend to visit the
Eternal city of Rome.
